1. Hongdae / Sangsu / Yeonnam-dong (Gyeonui Line Forest Trail)
   Suggest walking through this whole area! It has many young people, pubs, bars, nice cafes, and clothing stores gathered here!
   1. Exit Hongik University Station Exit 9 and walk toward Sangsu Station Exit 1
      or
   2. Exit Hongik University Station Exit 7 and walk along the trail – you’ll find many stores on the way.

   Jongno, where this area is located, is the center of Seoul. There are many shops made by renovating small and cozy traditional houses around Gyeongbokgung Palace.
   Directions: Get off at Gwanghwamun Station. Facing Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Hanok Village is on the right.

   This area used to have a US military base, so many foreigners, especially expats, live here. It has many exotic restaurants, techno clubs, and independent select shops.

   Visit time: Friday or weekend, as the area might seem quieter on weekdays.
